Eco-Informatics Research

Our environmental studies aim to apply science and technology to support sustainable environmental management. We achieve this by integrating remote sensing with extensive fieldwork and computer modeling. Our research delves into understanding how agricultural, forest, and natural systems respond to both climatic and anthropogenic changes. We tackle these complex issues across various scales, ranging from individual plots to landscapes. Using cutting-edge sensors and remote sensing technologies, including imaging spectroscopy (IS) and LiDAR sensors, coupled with innovative spatial artificial intelligence techniques, we strive to make fundamental discoveries that contribute significantly to sustainable environmental management and biodiversity conservation.
